This Community is Alive! 

         While studying communities, the students identified different places around us that they were familiar with. They made a model of their favorite place and then told their classmates all about it. The children were then able to use the website Blabberize.com to make their favorite place come alive. This project was designed to enhance and speed the English language acquisition of the non English speaking students along with learning about their community.

¡Esta Comunidad tiene Vida!

     Al estudiar las comunidades, los estudiantes identificaron los lugares cercanos con los que estaban más familiarizados.  Hicieron un modelo de su lugar favorito y presentaron a sus compañeros todo lo referente a sus trabajos.  Los niños usaron  la página de Blabberize.com para darle vida a su lugar favorito.  Este proyecto fue diseñado para ayudarles en el proceso de la adquisición del Inglés como segundo idoma y al mismo tiempo aprender acerca de sus comunidades.
